Why is this pisces so dramatic? ?

What is up with this pisces, we have been talking for about a month now we both like eachother alot im a libra btw. Ok so he tells me he likes me and all sorts of other things so yesterday I texted him and asked did he like me dating wise and he says ' its not that its just I don't rush into relationships cause I dnt want to be hurt' so I texts back and said your acting like im going to hurt you and he never replied, what should I do? I don't wana text him and get my feelings hurt again should I not text him? Please help
